Teens

Adolescence is a period of rapid change—a time that can be scary for both teens and their parents. For teens it’s about searching for more power and control over their lives. The best methods to maintaining a good parent-teen relationship are good communication, love, respect and a healthy dose of humor.

We offer the Family Teen Program in Partnership with D.A. Blodgett-St. John’s. This  program helps resolve parent/teen conflict by coaching parents on how to discuss curfews, friends, alcohol, and setting safe boundaries for teens.

Figuring out how to have healthy relationships is a common challenge among teens. Family Futures provides a Safe Dates curriculum through our Resources Against Violent Encounters (RAVE) program to over 1,000 teens every year. To find out more about it, click on the link below.
